April 4, 2009 - For the first time, CatholicTV® will broadcast the solemn liturgies of Holy Week from Boston's Cathedral of the Holy Cross in High-Definition. All the events from the mother church of the Archdiocese of Boston can be seen in selected locations and at CatholicTV.com in Hi-Def!  Experience Holy Week like never before in HD with Surround Sound. CatholicTV will also air Holy Week Liturgies from Rome with Pope Benedict XVI.

Thursday, April 9:         The Chrism Mass from Rome at 11 a.m.
                                    Mass of the Lord’s Supper from Rome at 2:30 p.m.
                                    Mass of the Lord’s Supper from Holy Cross Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. (HD)

Friday, April 10:           Liturgy of the Passion from Holy Cross Cathedral at 3 p.m. (HD);
                                    Liturgy of the Passion from Rome at 5 p.m.
                                    The Way of the Cross from Rome at 8 p.m.

Saturday, April 11:       Easter Vigil from Rome at 4 p.m.
                                    Easter Vigil from Holy Cross Cathedral at 8 p.m. (HD)
