"Evangelical Catholicism: The Future of the Church in the 21st Century" George Weigel is Distinguished Senior Fellow of Washington's Ethics and Public Policy Center, where he holds the William E. Simon Chair in Catholic Studies. His many books include the two-volume biography of Pope St. John Paul II, Witness to Hope and The End and the Beginning. His most recent book, Lessons in Hope: My Unexpected Life with John Paul II, tells the story of his unique friendship with St. John Paul II; copies will be on sale at the lecture. Light refreshments will be served.
