The Archdiocese of Boston Holy Hour For Life to be held on the Vigil of the National Day of Prayer and Penance. The bishops of the United States have established January 22 as a particular day of penance “for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion, and of prayer for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life.” General Instruction of the Roman Missal, no. 373
The Holy Hour will be prayed simultaneously at parishes, college campuses, hospitals, convents, and on the buses carrying our teens and seminarians to Washington, D.C. All those faithful to the inherent dignity of all human life from conception to natural death in the Archdiocese of Boston are invited to participate.
Booklets are provided free of charge to all parishes and other sponsors of the Holy Hour For Life.
The Boston Deacons For Life are working in collaboration with the Office of Clergy Support and Ongoing Formation and the ProLife Office.
