Educating over 1,300 Pre K-8 students, Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy (PJPIICA) is the largest elementary school in Boston—public or private—educating 30% of all Catholic elementary students in Boston. Founded in 2008, the Academy occupies four former parish-based Catholic schools and is under the leadership of one Regional Board and Director. Each campus is led by a principal and the teachers work together to implement an improved curriculum that includes a talented and gifted program, Algebra instruction, Latin, and enhanced literacy programs.

The Campaign for Catholic Schools has launched an aggressive fundraising campaign to finance the renovations of PJPIICA’s 97-year-old school building located on its Lower Mills campus. To help rebuild the Lower Mills school building, please click here.
