A Short Course in Christianity - The Cursillo Movement of the Archdiocese of Boston
The Cursillo method aims at helping to transform, in a Christian way, the environments where people live and work through the involvement of "new men and women" who have become such from their encounter with Christ. This is a goal of the three day "little course" on Christianity; in which a team of priests and lay people, supported by the prayer and sacrifices of the movement's other members, communicated the fundamental truths of the Christian faith in an especially "living way."
The Cursillo provides an experience of spiritual renewal and a method for Christian living and evangelization. The Office of Worship and Spiritual Life oversees the Cursillo offered for English speaking Catholics in the Archdiocese of Boston.
Cursillo is also offered in Spanish, Vietnamese and Portuguese in the Archdiocese. At this time the cost of the weekend is $150.00. A non-refundable $75.00 deposit is requested. It is important to know that no one will be turned away because of an inability to cover the fee.
The dates for the English Cursillo Weekends are:
Spiritual Life resources to support Adult Catholics and Spiritual Life resources for the parish.
