Respect Life Education is a program of the Pro Life Office of the Archdiocese of Boston. which works collaboratively with parishes, schools, and other Archdiocesan agencies to help parents and students better understand and appreciate the gift of human life and the dignity of the human person. Its services include:
- Implementation of the “See, I Make All Things New”/Created for Love middle school program on life, love and relationships.
- Coordination of semi-annual school and parish appearances for thousands of young people by national chastity educator Jason Evert.
- Development of educational programs on the “theology of the body”.
- Creation of ongoing resources to explain Church teachings on respect for human life including abortion, end-of-life issues, human sexuality, and contemporary bioethical issues.
- Speaker training to accompany the soon to-be published Vocation of Love and Respect for Life series for Confirmation candidates by educator Linda Thayer.
