June 06, 2014 - The CatholicTV Network to Broadcast Pentecost Vigil Mass with Cardinal Seán O'Malley

WATERTOWN, MA (June 6, 2014) The CatholicTV Network will broadcast the Pentecost Vigil Mass with Cardinal Seán O'Malley live from the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, MA on June 7, 2014 at 4PM ET.

The Pentecost Mass will rebroadcast on The CatholicTV Network at 11PM ET on June 7, and at 8PM on Sunday June 8. The Pentecost Vigil Mass will air on CatholicTV and CatholicTV.com.

The feast of Pentecost concludes the Easter season and commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit which was promised by Jesus to the Apostles.  The feast is often referred to as the “Birthday of the Church”.

In honor of Pentecost, The CatholicTV Network will also air the Pentecost Mass live from St. Peter’s Basilica at 4AM ET on Sunday, June 8. The Mass will rebroadcast at 12pm ET. The CatholicTV Network will also air a new series of Blink! segments featuring Allison Gingras. Allison discusses the ways that the gifts of the Holy Spirit can be used to share the faith via social media. The segments will premiere on CatholicTV and its YouTube channel on Pentecost.

All Pentecost programming will air on CatholicTV and CatholicTV.com.
