Faith Formation of Youth and Young Adults

Archdiocesan Youth Events

Discipleship Week
June 25-29, 2017
A week to engage and form High School students that will equip them to live as intentional disciples of Jesus Christ, empowering them to be leaders in their parishes, schools and respective communities. It is our hope that this program will serve as an effective compliment to local efforts in teen faith formation in the various collaboratives and other local communities of the Archdiocese of Boston. This event aims to equip young people with the Archdiocese’s “Forming Disciples in Mission” training by adapting the content and presentation for a high school audience, within the context of a week-long event in the early summer. Steubenville East
July 14-16, 2017 | Lowell, MA
The Steubenville East Catholic Youth Conference is an event for high school aged teens which is hosted at UMass Lowell, right here in the Archdiocese of Boston. It is a great opportunity for teens to encounter thousands of other young Catholics, hear from national speakers and enter into profound worship with the aid of professional musicians. Registration for this event opens in January and has been known to sell out quickly; groups who are interested are encouraged to sign up early! For more information, contact Kathy Stebbins at

Monthly | Parishes throughout the Archdiocese
LIFT Ministries hosts a monthly event for young people that is aimed at "bringing them into an encounter with Christ, the living bread of life, through different ways of prayer, engaging the young people in silence, in dynamic music, in the preached word of God." There is also an opportunity for Eucharistic adoration and the Sacrament of Confession. To see the upcoming dates, locations and featured speakers, please click here.
