Respect Life Education Office

The Respect Life Education Office works collaboratively with parishes, schools, and other Archdiocesan agencies to help parents and students better understand and appreciate the gift of human life and the dignity of the human person. Its services include:

  • Development, oversight and regional teacher training for the mandated Created for Love middle school religion curriculum which illustrates God’s plan for life, love, relationships and marriage.
  • Coordination of semi-annual school and parish appearances by nationally and internationally recognized chastity educators, such as Jason Evert.
  • Vocation of Love and Respect for Life speaker series for Confirmation candidates presented by educator Linda Thayer.

The Office is most grateful to recognize the parishes and Catholic organizations for their support of mothers and children serviced by the Pregnancy Help Crisis Pregnancy Center and Fund for the Unborn administered by the Pro Life Office of the Archdiocese of Boston through their participation in the 2015 Archdiocesan Parish Baby Shower Program.
