A description of our Liturgical Music Program at St. Thomas Aquinas, Bridgewater

St. Thomas Aquinas, Bridgewater, is a large, vibrant Catholic faith community with 2900 registered families. Consequently, our liturgical schedule is very busy. Our worship life is, overall, formal and traditional in nature, and Mass is always celebrated with reverence, and with attention to the proper liturgical standards. Our liturgical music program is a developing one, under the committed guidance of the Pastor and parish clergy, in collaboration with the Music Director.

Presently, we are using the Oregon Catholic Press hymnal, Breaking Bread. Our hope is to expand and grow our music program with the energy and vision of a new Music Director.  Our exceptional pipe organ is the principal instrument around which our liturgical music program is built. We also maintain a folk band for our Sunday noon Mass, and a contemporary ensemble for St. Basil Chapel for our Sunday 10:00am Services.
