May 21, 2018 - Faith Leaders & Scientists To Call for Action on Climate Change

More than 500 sign Joint Resolution  

Cardinal Seán O’Malley, Woods Hole Research Center President Dr. Philip Duffy & Rev. Mariama White-Hammond to appear at the press conference this Wednesday, May 23

Faith leaders and scientists will release a joint appeal calling for immediate action to address the threat of climate change. The appeal is being released to coincide with the third anniversary of Laudato Si', the landmark papal encyclical on climate change which was dated May 24, 2015.

The appeal was signed by more than 500 hundred of Massachusetts religious leaders and scientists. The text is available at http://whrc.org/joint-appeal/.
